• Getting to Root Cause

Current systems simply pin the blame on "probable causes" of outages

    $30 billion a year.

Power outages are estimated to cost the US economy as much as $30 billion each year. Current utility systems identify customers “who” are affected by a power outage. But determining the root cause or “why” they have lost service is manual & time-consuming.

    Lost Time & Wasted Money

During a major outage event, utilities are often inundated with "trouble calls," many of which are reported as "Priority 1." In the absence of accurate damage assessment information, utilities crews are often dispatched to the wrong location, or to locations with no utility damage (e.g., CATV wires down). Crews may also be dispatched to locations but unable to commence work (e.g. require tree-trimming first)
